Vector graphics will never lose resolution when you scale. Vectors are required for various production methods such as router and vinyl cutting.
RESOLUTION:
72dpi minimum for large format. 300dpi minimum for small format. Resolutoin refers to image quality. DPI is short of Dots Per Inch. The higher the DPI the better. Resolution scales proportionatley which means, If you have an image sized @ 5”x5” @ 1000dpi when you increase the size to 10”x10” the image will be @ 500dpi. You can not add resolution to an image, this must be done upon file/photo creation.
